Mt. Blanca Fine Arts Association is devoted to bringing live classical concerts to rural communities in the San Luis Valley. MBFAA has partnered with Adams State University to bring two guest artists for concerts at Adams State University, Crestone, Del Norte, and Fort Garland.

The first concert partnership between MBFAA and ASU engaged Metropolitan Opera tenor Adam Klein in Schubert’s “Winterreise” which was performed in Crestone, at Adams State University, and in Del Norte.

The second concert series featured 2014 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition participant Alexander McDonald who performed at Adams State University and Fort Garland, Colorado in September 2015.

MBFAA sponsors a Summer Music Conservatory for music students on the Adams State University Campus.  Dates for this next year’s Conservatory are June 23- June 29, 2019.

Our future goals are to partner with any and all arts organizations interested in providing access to the arts to San Luis Valley Citizens.
